Sheira offers Acupuncture, Cupping and Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a treatment to provide relief from tension and stress. And a great treatment in particular for the neck and shoulders. Friction is applied with oil and a chinese spoon. Friction is applied in repeated strokes. If the area is tense the blood will surface to the top of the skin as small pinheads. The patient does not experience any discomfort but immediate changes in stiffness, pain and mobility in the affect area. Like cupping the bruising can last for a couple of days.
