    Kundalini yoga and gong

£25 (£20 for unlimited class pass holders)

Kundalini yoga and gong healing

Sunday 12 December with Marc Muller 12:30-2:30pm

Wimbledon studio

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our very first Kundalini Yoga and Gong workshop, this will be a beautiful and deep experience with your body, teaching you how to observe and release your egoic mind and connect within.

Srinivasan (Marc) will guide you through a sequence of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathwork), mudras (hand locks), bandhas (energy locks), mantras (chanting), meditation and healing gong vibrations.

Kundalini Yoga is often called the yoga of awareness. You practise with eyes closed to tap into your inner world. This deep connection can help us to let go of our habitual self which often hinders us from moving forward.

For sound quality of the Gong and for a deeply immersive experience this workshop will be in the studio only. We look forward to sharing this sacred practice with you.

Suitable for all levels

“Kundalini yoga is a completely unique yoga practice to stimulate a real awareness of energy in the body. Expect to hold poses with gradually more challenging breath work  and smaller movements such as arm circles, potentially for a long time. It’s definitely something to experience and you may fall in love with the buzz it gives you  ”  Tish

    Christmas Chill-in

£25 (£20 for unlimited class pass holders)

Christmas Chill-in

Saturday 18 December with Lon Gibbons 2:00-4:00pm

Wimbledon studio and online (Recorded for 30 days access)

Join Lon for two hours of deliciously relaxing and deeply restorative yoga,  a perfect antidote to the intense build up towards Christmas.  Be able to enjoy the excitement and time with friends and family without becoming overwhelmed.

Our baseline stress levels are much higher than normal due to the ongoing pandemic,  and tolerance for extra input may be limited! The nervous system is designed to respond to external and internal stress so that we can survive and thrive. But prolonged exposure makes us less reslient and this can play out physically,  mentally and emotionally. Perhaps you notice you are not sleeping too well, or that you fly off the handle at the smallest irritation?!

Slow, mindful yoga practices like restorative and yin yoga, along with breathwork, meditation and relaxation are powerful ways to take us out of the stress response and allow the rest and digest part of the nervous system to calm things down.  The more we practice these techniques,  the more adaptable the nervous system becomes and we can both tolerate more stress and be able to switch off and calm down.

Experience a uniquely crafted sequence of postures designed to bring calm and peacefulness.  Learn a simple practice to use whenever you feel your inner stress barometer rising!

Suitable for all levels
