We run 4 or more courses per year from 6-12 weeks with a few short breaks for yoga holidays. The current 8 week course started from 2 September, however you can join in any time. Book here Over the years we have found that courses give students the most fulfilment and help. It works the same way as a class pass except you don’t have to keep booking your class. Unsure? Our teacher’s are worth it. Take your body and mind to a whole new level. Do you want to do a weekly class where you feel a real difference physically and mentally? The courses run with really experienced yoga teachers, movement therapists and specialists in back care, stress, anxiety, sleep and more. Our teachers are trained in more than yoga such as movement therapy training that Osteopath’s and physiotherapists attend, Women’s Health, Pilates, Nutritious Movement (TM) and Body Mind Workers. It’s very easy to train as a yoga teacher and there isn’t much regulation. We ensure our teachers are the very best. So you know you can make a sustainable change to your body, posture and alignment and help you mentally.
What’s in a course
The courses mean yoga becomes a weekly event where you know that you are taking some time to look after ‘you’ physically, mentally and emotionally. There is quite a lot you can get from a regular yoga practice on every level, from better physical shape, to dealing with injuries, stress and anxiety, digestive and sleep issues. And some find it is life changing giving them confidence and strength to deal with things that come up in life, or support if something isn’t going so well. In drop in classes it’s difficult to touch on these aspects of the practice. In a course you work through a theme, with each class building on the previous class, so you see real progression whether physically or mentally. Just want to know what to wear/bring etc? How it works….
You choose your class and your space is saved for you each week and there is no need to keep booking. This also tends to mean you are more committed to a practice and continue. Which class should you come too – see here
If you join a course and miss your class you can make this up at any other time during the course. This is subject to space but if you are booked on a course you get priority. You don’t need ask which class to come to. Tish will keep you updated re space during the course so you can simply come along.
the course follows a theme so you can learn about the background to yoga and all things related, and really feel and understand how beneficial a regular practice can be. The themes of each course differ to cover issues that relate to our everyday lives, from posture and physical health, to yoga philosophy, mental health and mindfulness. They are designed to make you help you thrive physically and mentally.
