Cupping is a treatment to provide relief from tight muscles and stiffness. It is also an extremely effective treatment for colds and flu. Cupping is an ancient treatment for treating pain and congestion in a certain area. A partial vacuum is created in a cupping jar, usually by means of heat, which is then applied directly to the skin. Although it can produce bruises patients do not experience any discomfort and usually report great relief.
